The thought of starting to skydive have been in my mind for a very long time, but it wasn’t until a couple of months ago I finally decided to actually go through the process.

Three days have passed of basic and important skydive practice. The day before yesterday was the theory exam day. After one hour of writing down the answers it was time to turn in the answer sheet. A while later I got the result in my hands – PASSED – Puhhh one more step completed and 99999999 steps to go – Haha just kidding or do I

The stuff that are left is practical training which I’m looking forward to very much! I’ve tired to film the first 2 days as good as I can and the idea is in the end merge it all together and then push it to my YouTube account, but beware I’m not so good in front of the camera as I am on the back. That is just one thing I need to practice a bit more on

Anyway Midsummer Day is approaching and things need to be prepared for the big fest

Vacuming, dusting, laundary, food preperation… Well that is only a couple of things that needs to be done until tomorrow. You know June 13th, tomorrow, guests… Yeah it’s my birthday coming up!

ICARUS
I’ve been preparing for a new project called “ICARUS” for the past months. I’m not going to reveal any more information about that topic right now, but all I can say is ICARUS will get the “Green Light” soon.

As you’ve probably heard Apple’s WWDC 2010 were the day of yesterday in San Fransisco together with over 5200 visitors!
Me, myself didn’t have the opportunity to go there, even if I wanted to. What I did together with millions of other people was to follow some sort of live blogging during the event. I tried to join Ustream.tv because there were some one in the audience who live streamed the entire event, but due to the heavy traffic it was impossible to load up the page and connect to the stream correctly. I was super exited to read and look at pictures (in my case) of what Steve were showing the world up on that stage. I was certain that he would show the new iPhone 4 (yeah, not 4G, HD or any of the other rumors that were floating around on the web), in matter of fact almost the entire keynote which were by the way 2 hours long was about the iPhone 4.

The new sleek design with aluminosilicate glass on both sides and re-engineered hardware, 720p video recording, FaceTime, 5Mpix camera, LED flash, Retina display, Noise cancelling and many other features as well, made the audience loose their breath of excitement.

Man it has been a very long time since I were in NYC. I really miss the culture, the architecture, the city, the people and talking English (Yeah I really love the English language).
Last time I were in New York I was visiting my two brothers who live there (well one of my brothers moved back to Norway after have been living and working in NYC for a very long time). That was my very first time visiting the US (… yeeeah, that’s true )

Wow – The City is amazing – Since I live in Sweden I could only imagine how New York was like. You know when you are watching a New York Maffia or Action movie you get the idea that the city will be full of criminals and you will get robbed as soon as you just touch the sidewalk with your foot that is actually not your foot but it could been your foot and now when you have stepped on the ground with your foot which is now dirty,… but didn’t I say that it wasn’t your foot…?

This is what happens when you are tired and beaten up by all the pollen that is in the air.

Ok, back to the subject. One thing that hit me was all the cars. Why in the H*** do people have cars? The city is almost undrivable. People who have cars practically runs down in the morning and literally jumping into the car, put the pedal to the metal and races to work, hoping that they don’t get stuck in the traffic jams which is a normal phenomenon in New York City .

There I stood, in one of the world’s most amazing cities together with my uncle and two brothers, so what did we do?
One thing that had to be done was to take a ride in a Yellow cab, you know the famous yellow cabs that you always see in a typical New York movie. We did probably one of the longest city walks of all time, starting from a area called Dumbo. We walked on the Brooklyn bridge (which is a very good looking bridge btw!) and straight into Manhattan, did a tour through China Town, took a picnic in Central Park, visited the awesomest store in the entire NYC, the B&H PhotoVideo Store. B&H, the mekka for all the photo/video/tech fanatics. It takes at least one whole day to go through all the stuff that B&H are selling in the store, that’s one place you must visit when you are in NYC.

I really looking forward to the next trip to the US, maybe I’ll even do a road trip on the West side of the country.

Wow has it really been 5 years since YouTube launched, it almost feels like yesterday!
It’s really amazing to see how YouTube have evolved the past 5 years and how the video community have changed the world and it’s audience.
It’s very fun to see the people who have created amazing videos which have had millions of millions of views and how far these creators have come in the YouTube community.

Head over to YouTube FiveYear to watch the amazing YouTube stories from some of the outstanding video creators. I can’t point out any specific person or persons because they all have amazing stories and videos, so head out to the site and WATCH THEM ALL!
